Standards-Based Grading! 
In 4th grade we use Standards-Based Grading. This means that grades given are aligned with specific standards that we are working on in class. Every reading test or math test (or lesson check) includes a rubric which lists the standards tested and the point allocations. Spelling tests are aligned with the reading standard for spelling grade-appropriate words. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions about this system.
